A nice article appears in this month’s issue of Yellowscene Magazine out of Boulder, Colorado. The article is called “Home on the Range.” It’s about the Pawnee Buttes in Pawnee National Grassland in Northeast Colorado. The author is Chris Hawkins who describes some history of the area, and what you might expect to find if you go there. It is neither flattering, nor unflattering, but a fairly realistic account of what can be found on the Great Plains.
Good to see some promotion of the area in a place like Boulder. Will people go there? Perhaps. The mountains are tough to compete with, but with more access and more trails, who knows . . .
