I interrupt posts on my recent trip to Nebraska to bring you the following exciting news. Two GPTA Board members, Clay Bonnyman-Evans (trail name Pony) and Luke Jordan (trail name Strider), had a brief meetup in East Glacier near the entrance to Glacier National Park. Strider is currently hiking the Pacific Northwest Trail westbound to the Pacific Ocean while also adding in some miles on the GPT and the prairies of eastern Montana. Clay is heading southbound on the Continental Divide Trail. It’s super cool that they were able to cross paths before their journeys take them far away.
Hike on Pony and Strider!!
