Photo of the Week – 7/24/17

This week’s photo is from New Mexico.  Capulin Volcano National Monument is a little gem in the northern part of the state.  You can drive or hike to the top where expansive views of the largely volcanic region, such as this, await.

  1. I just drove up Capukin Mtn. last week and then followed the hwy. up through Folsom and Branson to catch US 160 in Colorado. Followed the Aubrey Cutoff of the Santa Fe Trail and the Goodnight-Loving cattle trail but didn’t stop at the Folsom Archaeological Site, just the little Folsom Museum in town. Spectacular and very remote!
