Hello. My name is Steve Myers, and I am the founder of the Great Plains Trail vision. I would like to extend a big Great Plains welcome to all viewers of this site, but a special welcome to anyone arriving from the National Parks Traveler website!

Also, if you’re interested, below you will find approximately 50 posts mostly about the Great Plains in general (ranging from Native Americans to current events to inspirational Great Plains quotes), but also some posts about the efforts to create a non-profit in order to turn the idea of the Great Plains Trail into a reality. Despite the recent confusion about IRS Form 1023, I am happy to report that the process is going smoothly, and the plan is to be a full 501(c)(3) organization in just a matter of a few months.
